Repair Services
We have a repair workshop. We carry out some repairs on
site to: guitars, violins & violas, drums, woodwind, and some other instruments.
We also use associated repairers. If the repair is outside our knowledge we may
be able to suggest a possible contact.
Some typical repair costs are as follows:

For small repairs, or estimates for repairs not listed
below the minimum charge will be £20. Prices are for guidance based on basic
work without any problems occurring. Some older instruments may not be
economical to repair

Check over instrument, level keywork & adjust, remove all
leaks, reseat pads, oil keywork & replace cork as necessary
Service B
Strip instrument, clean & polish body, clean pads & corks,
replace touch corks as necessary, reassemble, clean & oil keywork, regulate
throughout
Service C
Full repad. Renew all pads & felts, renew cork crown, clean
& polish body; clean keywork, reassemble & regulate
Repairs are warranted for 3 months against faulty
workmanship or materials (except for instrument strings).
