Drum Kits

The most popular drum kit is a rock kit with a 22” diameter bass drum. A fusion kit has a 20” bass drum. A smaller kit with an 18” bass drum is suitable for adults or children. A junior kit has a 14” or 16” bass drum. Junior kits are 3 or 5 piece. The space required for a rock kit is about 6 feet by 6 feet. The sound volume can be reduced by about 90% by fitting rubber damping pads, so noise need not be an issue.

Starter kits have lightweight steel stands, thin cymbals and thin wooden shells. The better quality kits such as “Tama” are more sturdily build and with better quality material.

We assemble and test kits before sale. Free delivery of full size kits at a mutually convenient time within the Swale council area is included on all 5 piece drum kits. We can usually suggest local teachers for lessons.
